Energize Your Research
Gain access to non-destructive, high resolution X-ray based imaging
What we can provide:
|
Available Instruments
The X-ray Imaging Facility has equipment housed in Knight Campus and at TeACS:
Zeiss Xradia 620 Versa
Zeiss’s most powerful microCT / X-ray microscope model that applies state-of-the-art X-ray source technology and combines geometric and optical magnification to provide both high contrast resolution and high spatial resolution. Widefield mode allows ~15cm+ diameter field of view. 30-160kV energy range. 500nm spatial resolution / sub-micron voxel sizes achievable, depending on sample geometry.
Scanco vivaCT80
Scanco Medical’s flagship cone-beam microCT scanner for longitudinal in vivo studies. 80mm maximum field of view diameter, 45-70kVp energy range, 3.9-160um nominal voxel sizes.
Faxitron UltraFocus & MultiFocus
Hologic’s line of preclinical radiography systems allows users to rapidly acquire high magnification projection X-rays longitudinally during in vivo studies. 10-100kV energy range. 10x15cm scan area. We have two units – an UltraFocus and a MultiFocus.
The Facility would like to acknowledge that all scans that are performed on the Zeiss Xradia 620 Versa are made possible through system acquisition funding support from the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust (Grant # SR-201812008).
